Our "3 Little Bird" Story
Where It All Started
We’re three sisters—Kat, Missy, and Lisa—born and raised right here in Newton. Our parents owned a business downtown, and our childhood was full of open doors, extra seats at the dinner table, and community that felt like family.
Years later, life pulled us in different directions. Kat built a career in restaurant management and distribution across the state. Missy stayed close to her creative roots in Newton. Lisa led with strategy and support from behind the scenes.
But when life brought us home again, so did a dream: to create a place where people gather, feel seen, and raise a glass to something meaningful.
The Launch
When the opportunity came to take over Carolina Vines, we knew it was time. With our dad’s blessing and the strength of our different gifts, 3 Little Birds was born.
We didn’t want to just sell wine—we wanted to create connection.
We wanted to showcase local art, host intimate gatherings, and educate our community about wine in a way that felt approachable and personal.
This was never just about business. It was about honoring where we came from and building something bigger than ourselves.
